Who’s the Right Fit?
We are looking for a highly qualified, in-person tutor to teach PHY2049 – Physics with Calculus II at FIU in Miami. As a tutor, you should be someone who thrives on student success, loves to teach, and is committed to excellence. Your mission will be to help students fully grasp complex concepts in physics, not just memorize formulas. As a Prep Academy Tutor, you will:
- Empower students with academic support based on the Florida curriculum for university-level physics.
- Develop customized learning plans to help students understand the material thoroughly.
- Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support or a challenge to extend their learning.
- Collaborate with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress, challenges, and successes.

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You hold a current, valid registration with the Florida Department of Education.
- You’re a qualified teacher in the U.S. (or in the process of becoming one).
- You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education and preparing for a career in teaching.
- You have experience as a university-level lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution.
