Job Summary
· Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of state of Illinois curriculum
· Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material
· Provide remedial and enrichment support for students
· Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
· Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student

Requirements
Qualified applicants have a bachelor’s degree and meet at least one of the following criteria:
· Possess a valid Illinois Teachers License or the equivalent
· Current student teacher who is pursuing a teaching certificate
· Two or more years of experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school
· Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
· Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
