Job Summary
We are actively seeking specialized tutors who are passionate and knowledgeable in the following subjects for 12th-grade students in the Pinecrest area:
- English Honors
- Marine Science
- Mathematics for Data & Financial Literacy Honors
- AP US Government and Politics
- Economics Honors
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized academic support grounded in the state curriculum and your subject expertise.
- Creating and assigning supplementary materials to enhance students’ grasp of the subjects.
- Offering both remedial and enrichment support tailored to each student's needs.
- Engaging with parents or guardians to discuss progress and strategies for improvement.
- Implementing a customized tutoring approach to suit the individual learning style of each student.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will be vibrant and dedicated educators, subject matter experts (including Masters and PhD Students, Engineers, etc.), or educators-to-be who are enthusiastic about making a difference in students’ educational journeys and possess:

Requirements
To join our team, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and fulfill at least one of the following:
- Possession of a valid Florida State teaching certificate or equivalent.
- Current enrolment in a teacher certification program as a student teacher.
- A minimum of two years' experience teaching in private, charter, or public schools.
- Lecture or course instruction experience at an accredited U.S. university or college.
- Graduate students with teaching assistant experience at an accredited U.S. university or college.
